Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
My research is in econometrics, with a focus on making economic policy decisions in the face of uncertainty. I develop methods for learning optimal policies with limited data, for designing experiments around policy objectives, and for identification and inference of heterogeneous treatment effects. My work draws on decision theory, optimization, and machine learning.
